I am for less government and more freedom. I am a libertarian.

I am a libertarian. As a former paid member of the Libertarian Party (Big "L"), I disagree with the party platform on the war on terror and immigration. I want to stop Islamo-facists that would kill us and I want to close the borders. I am personally not running for any office.

I'm a Goldwater / Reagan libertarian conservative and support small government, low taxes and individual freedom and liberty. I support laissez-faire, or free market economics and capitalism. Many of these concepts are described in Wealth of Nations written by Adam Smith in 1776. Socialism and Marxism are proven failures and government is seldom the solution.

A government that is big enough to give you all you want is big enough to take it all away. - Barry Goldwater

Economic Mess is CRA-P

Why are we are in an economic mess? It started with Jimmy Carter's Community Reinvestment Act, or CRA. I like to call it the Community Reinvestment Act - Program, or CRA-P. The law forced banks to make loans to people that were not credit worthy. These weak loans were packaged and sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. These quasi-governmental agencies encouraged CRA and other sub-prime loans. In recent years these agencies were led mostly by people from the Clinton administration. This includes Franklin Raines. Raines made $ 90,000,000 during his term at Fannie Mae. Nice work if you can get it. Raines was also an unpaid Obamma financial adviser.

How about the banks? They made plenty of money making subprime loans to speculators, house flippers, CRA people and others. As long as real estate kept going up, everything was fine. And what the hell, it wasn't their money anyway. They sold the loans they were encouraged to make to Fannie and Freddie. And then the bubble burst, especially in a few key states.

Where were the politicians? The Democrats thought everything was great! At least a few Republicans were concerned. Watch for yourself:

Capitalism did not fail. Government failed, especially Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd, Democrat congressional leaders.

So, the same people that caused most of the problem and Barry are going to fix it by spending billions more. We are screwed.

The good news? We are going to take back the country! Hopefully, before it's not too late.

I must say as to what I have seen of Texas it is the garden spot of the world. The best land and the best prospects for health I ever saw, and I do believe it is a fortune to any man to come here. There is a world of country here to settle. - Davy Crockett, 1836.
